“Through” can be referred to a passage of space or time. I picked two photos that have personal meanings to me. The modern skyscraper through the skylight used to be a grand opera-like theater where I sneaked in for movies when I was little. The old house I peeked through its screen window has fond memories of a colleague who passed away after that trip couple years back.

These are lovely pictures, both really strong, but in totally different ways. The texture is beautiful through the screen, particularly on the curtains. It feels quite organic and peaceful.

I love the look up through the skylight and the view through the screen… The song by Michael Card has always been one of my favorites.
I love the round window. I think the strength of the lines in the leaded sections helps draw the eye to the outside. I also love the way that the circles are off-centre. Very dramatic.
Thanks for pingback to my blog.
